27 May 2014, there was a round-table meeting on «The rapid devaluation of the hryvnia provokes the growth of credit non payments and cause outrage of borrowers. Will the NBU able to cope with this situation?» in the press center of Ukrainian National Agency Ukrinform.

Participants sharpened focus on finding of ways which help to resolve of issue of rapid increase in quantity of problem loans in Ukraine. In particular, these are the necessity of the moratorium on foreclosure subject of pledge according to a loan by a legislative solution to the problem, the possibility of conversion of foreign currency loans in the national currency, using of the experience of other countries in addressing similar problems with mortgages and etc.

Volodymyr Misechko pay attention on urgent necessity of conversion of foreign currency loans in the national currency in order to prevent similar situation in the future and release borrowers from the obligation to make payments in foreign currency

In addition, the expert noted the need for borrowers to get the right to return mortgage to the banking institutions, followed by forgiveness of outstanding debt.
