Payment in favor of the client of Misechko & Partners in the liquidation of ABLV Bank, AS, Latvia
The client of Misechko & Partners, Law Firm, a travel company registered in the BVI, is the 7th step creditor in the liquidation procedure of ABLV Bank, AS, Latvia for a total amount of claims of EUR 85,000.00.
In February 2022, as part of the audit of the company's activities for its period of service in ABLV Bank, AS, Latvia, the company received a request from the Bank's auditors (Ernst & Young) to provide within 45 days an explanation of the origin of funds and the company's activities for the period from 2017 to 2018.
As part of the compliance audit of the client, the lawyers of Misechko & Partners prepared and sent the relevant explanations about the activities and origin of the client's funds and supporting documents.
In early November 2022, as a result of consideration of the submitted documents, the client's creditor claim of Misechko & Partners Law Firm to the Bank was accepted and the funds were paid to the client in full.
This is already the thirteenth client of Misechko & Partners Law Firm that has received a payment from ABLV Bank, AS, Latvia within the framework of its liquidation, the total amount of funds paid in favor of Misechko & Partners' clients is 2.7 million euros.
