Misechko & Partners accompany the client's acquisition of government bonds of the Republic of Latvia

Since 2015, the Republic of Latvia has launched a program to obtain a temporary residence permit through the purchase of government bonds of EUR 250,000 for 5 years.

A condition for the implementation of such a program for a foreigner is the need to open a bank account in Latvia, purchase government bonds of EUR 250,000 and pay tax in the amount of 10% of the investment amount.

Based on the results of such an investment, a foreigner and his family are entitled to a residence permit, which is issued for a period of 5 years and is not subject to annual revision.
