Misechko & Partners Law Firm represents the client in a dispute with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Latvia on the cancellation of the decision to revoke the citizenship of Ukraine.

The client of Misechko & Partners, LF in December 2017 received the citizenship of Ukraine on a territorial basis, a certificate of registration of a person as a citizen of Ukraine was issued by the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Latvia.

In December 2019, the client of Misechko & Partners, LF received from the Consular Section of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Latvia a message about the revocation of the citizenship of Ukraine acquired by him on a territorial basis, in connection with the failure to submit a renunciation of another citizenship, and such a decision was made before the end of the allotted two-year period for submitting such a renunciation.

As part of the pre-trial work, Volodymyr Misechko sent a lawyer's request to the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Latvia regarding an explanation of the reasons for such a decision made about the client of Misechko & Partners, LF after which the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Latvia revoked the decision on revocation citizenship as incorrect.

At the same time, the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Latvia decided for the client of Misechko & Partners, LF to annul the citizenship of Ukraine as unreasonably accepted.

The dispute is being considered by the District Administrative Court of Kyiv, the project is accompanied by the lawyers of Misechko & Partners, LF Tetiana Bybko and Volodymyr Misechko.
